If the Sikh wear it with so much pride and are not shy to wear it in public... why cant the Muslim men do the same...?

What a beautiful thread. Jazakum Allahkhyran for sharing all these wise words and wisdom.
Here is good one from late Gandhi who once said "Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's need, but not every man's greed".
" I am less concerned about getting people to the shahada than I am about getting people beyond the shahada". (Shk Abdullah bin Hamid Ali)

This thought has been roaming in my head for some time...
Food for thought...
When brothers and sisters who take on the path of The Sufi's, say ' I cant belive such and such person does not have this understanding of tasawwuf ' or ' How can they not belive in such experinces'...
One should stop and say.... ' How did i come about,in understanding tasawwuf ', ' What makes me better then this person'...
One should be greatful to Allah swt, thanking Him swt for such understanding and feeling the different experinces of Iman...
One should make dua for other brothers and sisters, and not have ill feeling towards them, for not having the same understanding of the science of tasawwuf. One should make dua asking Allah swt to implant the understanding of such science in their hearts, and let them feel the same experince that your feeling too...
I once ask one of my teachers in Islam, he his a master in the science of tasawwuf and love for Sayydin Muhammad , a question relating to tasawwuf... He said to me... ' Not all people can take in the knowledge of tasawwuf '. He also said, ' A true sufi, wouldnt call him/her sufi and say i have gained such and such konwledge, but he/she should go back to Allah swt thanking Him for such knowledge and understanding and even seeking forgiveness for not acting upon the knowledge given'.
Aslo to keep in mind, that not every one has experince what you have experince, and that with in the science of tasawwuf there are different states and stages one would past, which others might not get to or even comprehend.
Leave you with this from Imam Al Ghazali, Dear Beloved Son...
[font="Times New Roman"]My dear beloved son! You have asked [me] about some [spiritual] issues, among which, some cannot be described completely in writing and speech. When you reach that [high spiritual enlightenment] state then you will know them yourself. The lesson of love is not taught but it

Past parked cars I drove,
A lonely bird I encountered,
Deciding to slow down my mounted,
The bird suddenly transposed,
Under a parked car it froze,
Seeking quick refuge it found,
against the gearing engine sound,
Of witnessing this I wondered,
and over Gods Power I pondered,
through His creations and their proclivity,
to flee from such vulnerability,
I then wondered why,
When faced with a tremendous try,
Do we not burst and cry,
Seeking His Mercy and Forgiveness,
To rid us of all illness,
To save us from a place,
where no soul can ever face,
a place that leaves no trace,
of worldy honours and grace,
I ask Allah Almighty,
To treat us well and lighty,
To make us like birds who leap,
From dangers of great steep,
I ask by He, the Infinitely Generous and the Infinitely Good,
To grant us the Blessings that come with Prophethood,
And grant us Love of highest degrees,
That we may be shaded under Your Mercy trees.
O Allah unite our generations,
Through the Light of the Master of creation,
Muhammad, may we be drawn nearer to his never ending station.
